The programme

Most organisations on a paid Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise plan already have access to Copilot Chat — a secure, enterprise-grade AI tool grounded in web data, with capabilities including file upload, image generation, Copilot Pages, and integration across Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Most of those organisations are not using it.

The adoption gap is not a technology problem. It is a knowledge and confidence problem. People do not know what Copilot Chat can do, where to find it, or how to use it effectively — and without structured intervention, that gap tends to widen rather than close as the technology evolves.

This programme addresses that directly. The one-day workshop is hands-on throughout, built around real business scenarios rather than feature demonstrations. Participants leave able to use Copilot Chat confidently in their daily work. An optional self-paced training portal — available soon as a paid add-on — will provide ongoing reinforcement, reference material, and a learning resource for new starters long after the workshop day itself.

Importantly, this programme is designed around what organisations already have — not what they would need to buy. The Copilot Chat capability included with these plans is substantive and frequently underestimated. The workshop establishes that value clearly, while providing an informed view of what the paid Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on makes possible for organisations that want to go further.

Who it is for
Teams and organisations on a paid Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise plan. Groups of eight to twenty participants. Works across functions — sales, marketing, finance, operations and management.
Pre-requisite
Each participant needs an active paid M365 Business or Enterprise account and a laptop with access to Teams, Outlook, and the M365 web apps. No additional software is required.

Secure AI Chat
Enterprise data protection built in. Your prompts and responses are not used to train AI models. Grounded in web data, with the ability to bring your own files and documents.
File Upload & Analysis
Upload Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDFs and other files for Copilot to reason over. Ask questions, request summaries, generate analyses — without leaving the chat interface.
Copilot Pages
Save, edit, and share AI-generated content in a persistent, collaborative canvas. Meeting notes, project briefs, research summaries — built together, in real time.
M365 Integration
Available in Teams and Outlook as a side-panel aware of open content. Standard access within Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote for organisations under 2,000 users.
Code Interpreter
Python-based data analysis, calculations, and visualisation. Particularly valuable for finance and operations teams working with structured data who want AI-assisted analysis without specialist skills.
Image Generation & Agents
Create AI-generated images from text descriptions. Access pay-as-you-go agents — including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel agents — directly from the Copilot Chat interface.

The workshop blends presentation, live demonstration, and hands-on exercises. It is designed for groups of eight to twenty participants. Participants should bring their own laptops. Role-specific scenario exercises are woven throughout — not generic demos, but tasks that reflect the work participants actually do.

after the workshop day.

The training portal will provide retained access to a library of video content covering all of the workshop material and more — quick-bite videos for immediate reference, and deep-dive modules for participants who want to go further in specific areas.

Content will be updated as the Microsoft Copilot platform evolves. New starters will be able to use the portal to onboard into Copilot Chat working practices without waiting for a live session, and managers will be able to track engagement and identify where reinforcement is needed.

The portal is offered as an optional extra, priced separately from the workshop, and is currently in development — we will confirm availability and pricing on enquiry. It is the mechanism that converts a one-day training event into a lasting capability shift.
